PIN US UP.

About The Pinup Shop...The Pinup Shop is for pinup art lovers. A Cafepress shop that showcases my girlie art, which is for sale on all 97 different items. I have only just begun, but soon there will be many beautiful faces to grace this site (to get updated on that, feel free to subscribe to The Pinup Shop Newsletter, located on the sidebar). But this is just the tip of the ice burg. Incorporating The Pinup Blog, I would like to make this a real hobbyist's lounge.

About Tali Shapiro...I'm a 25 year-old freelance artist and writer and a lover of pinups and retro American culture. Drawing pinups is one of my many dreams and this project is a dream-come-true for me. I’ve always loved to draw sexy women, and a pinup seemed to appear in everything I did. So I guess a pinup-centered project was only a matter of time. For my non-pinup art, check out my profile at Imagekind.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME PLANNING.

About a month ago I decided that I would dress up as the character Penelope Cruz played in the movie Blow, a.k.a. Mirtha Jung. Today I started looking for ideas and was surprised to find that there are hardly any picture (stills) of her on the web. I literally searched for hours. So, now I am going to have to watch the movie for outfit inspiration and then compile the elements of her costume one-by-one.

I was searching for 70's hairstyles and found this picture, which I think is a pretty right-on on do - similar to Penelope's style in the movie. More to come...

FREE PEOPLE.

A surprisingly enjoyable read...and it's more then just fashion.

Check it...http://blog.freepeople.com

In their own words...Building 15 is where the magic of Free People happens. In the Navy Yard on the edge of Philadelphia a cluster of renovated warehouses sit alongside the Delaware River, and in one of them a group of young, fashionable, creative people – mostly women – delve into the details of living the life of the Free People girl. We sort through fabric swatches, take photo shoots, share ideas, video, art, food and culture, and travel the world in search of inspiration to create fashion that reflects our creative, independent, impressively-bold and free-spirited FP girl.

The BLDG 15 Blog is a way for us to open the doors of our home to let you peek inside, come in, and hang out for a while. We wanted to create a place that merged our worlds and offered insight into the illuminating culture of Free People. We hope that this blog inspires you to embark on creative, fun, enlightened, and fashionable adventures each day, and that you return again to share your experiences with the us.

About...Established in 2007, CopenhagenStreetStyle has made quite a name for itself and acquired a strong following of (as they refer to them) "cool people" over that last few years. Although a step above many of its' kind, this blog shares the same aim as the rest of 'em...to take part in the "world-wide movement of streetstyle-blogs" that attempt to "capture the essence of their city in the clothes and looks of it's inhabitants."

PS...you must check out "seen on the street."
